Dinner to be served at Oyama orchard

Oyama’s Gatzke Orchard is presenting a new dinner series called GO Foodism as part of its spring/summer event schedule for 2014.

Oyama’s Gatzke Orchard is presenting a new dinner series called GO Foodism as part of its spring/summer event schedule for 2014.

Guests can join award-winning chefs for an outdoor, roaming, signature four-course dinner series on the orchard located on Pelmewash Parkway overlooking Kalamalka and Wood Lakes.

Chefs will include Shelley Robinson, winning chef of 2014 Chopped Canada, Ricardo Scebba, bestselling cookbook author and owner/chef of Ricardo’s Mediterranean Kitchen in Lake Country, Jeff Kreklau, owner of Routes Grill in Lake Country, Chris Van Hooydonk, Artisan Culinary Concepts’ owner and chef, Okanagan’s Finest Foods owner and chef Travis Hackl, and Gatzke Orchards’ own singing chef Cornel Fisher.ttt

“We are very fortunate for the great food we produce in the Okanagan Valley and the talented chefs it attracts here. I’m really excited to bring this incredible group of culinary rock stars on to our orchard,” said orchard owner Alan Gatzke.

GO Foodism runs on the last Sunday of the month starting May 25 until September with tickets and information available at gatzkeorchard.com.
