The Comox Valley Art Gallery invites you to Discover Art Saturday this weekend from 2 to 4 p.m.
This is a free family-friendly event that is open to the public, so it’s perfect for an afternoon with your kids, or a creative date with friends.
Discover Art Saturday is an interactive visual art experience on the first Saturday of every month. This event is by drop-in and features art-making hosted by the gallery’s volunteers.
Visit the art exhibits and then sit down to create; draw, sketch, colour and collage. Basic art materials are supplied for everyone to share and explore.
On exhibition is Towards Grace the Comox Valley Art Gallery and the Comox Valley Community Arts Council juried members’ show. There’s a ballot box in the gallery so you can vote for your favourite piece for the People’s Choice Award.
