Shuswap Okanagan Dance Academy (SODA) senior hip hop dancers, Nicole Droder, left, Emmalene Joyce, Celine Griffin, Hanna Remfert, Petra Prince, Kallee Menhinick and Elise Wilson (on floor), perform the piece, I Need a Doctor, choreographed by Olivia Robertson. The piece, among solo entries and production numbers from students who attended several dance competitions throughout the season, will be performed at SODA’s annual production, Dance for Dreams, at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre June 10 at 7 p.m. A special dance challenge will also allow the audience to vote for their favourite dancer of the night. (Bring your toonies and loonies to vote at intermission.) Admission is by donation and all proceeds go to the Vernon branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
