This October, put aside the teenage vampires and settle in for a meeting with the Master. Canadian Warren Graves’ adaptation of the traditional Dracula story has all the familiar elements: the mysterious and alluring Count Dracula, the strangely ailing Lucy Murray, and the tenacious and worried Professor Abraham von Helsing.
The Death of Dracula runs Oct. 14-30 Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. In the run up to Halloween, this classic story is the perfect entertainment. Tickets are only $12, and are available at Murdoch’s BookShoppe, 33078 First Ave., in Mission, or at the door. Opening Nite Theatre is at 33223-33227 Railway Ave., in Mission.
