Part one of Caleb Speller's Yesteryear showing at The Emporium

Artist Caleb Speller is showing a two-part exhibition at The Emporium in Chinatown’s Dragon Alley.

Part one of the exhibit, called Yesteryear, opened on March 2 and will run for the rest of March. Part two will show in April.

Yesteryear is a collection of new and old from the Saanich artist who was Camosun’s Artist in Residency in 2011.

Local artist Paul McNair curated the collection from Speller’s archives. It features ceramics, collage work, and watercolour works, with pieces dating back to 2005, up to and including his current studio work.

Part two will be all new works.

The Emporium is in Dragon Alley, at 12 – 5321/2 Fisgard in Chinatown.
