It’ll be two unique shows in one featuring painted portraits by Bill Edmonds and 3D photography by Brunella Battista for the next exhibition at the Art Gallery.
Dual Contrast features Edmond’s show People and Places on one side of the room. He specializes in intriguing portraits, inspired by photographs collected over anonymous social media chats, and created with unorthodox paint mediums.
On the other side of the gallery, Battista’s hyper-reality 3D photography show will wow you with depth, colour and layers, giving you the opportunity to lose yourself in this glassless 3D experience (below).
Dual Contrast runs Sept. 15 to Oct. 22 in the Art Gallery at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. Opening reception is set for Saturday, Sept. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. for an evening of inspiration, dialogue, food and entertainment.
