A comedy team is bringing an all-aboriginal lineup on tour with a stop in Nanaimo.
Vancouver-based comedians Brian Majore, also known as the Bloody Savage, and Cliff Paul, or Clifford the Big Rez Dog, are touring with Donovan Patrick Mahoney and Chris Gaskin throughout B.C. Majore and Paul were featured on CTV First Story, a program dedicated to telling stories of Canada’s Aboriginal Peoples.
Native stand-up comedy is still emerging and growing in popularity in Canada.
“Native people love to laugh and we love making them laugh,” Majore said.
The show is set for Friday (March 11), 8 p.m., at the Nanaimo Entertainment Centre, 46 Nicol St., at the former Caprice movie theatre. Tickets $20.
