Family and friends of the Vernon Kalamalka chapter of Sweet Adelines International are invited to the choir’s annual Christmas performance, Wednesday at the Halina Centre.
Interim director Joey Minshall, Sweet Adelines International chorus advisor, coach and accredited music arranger, has prepared a program of traditional Christmas music, along with selections from the group’s current chorus repertoire.
Included are soloists and entertainment by current chorus members.
Coffee and refreshments will be served while the audience listens to the chorus’ new and exciting sound. There will also be a bake sale, turkey raffle and door prize draw.
Admission is by donation and contributions to the food bank are also welcome.
The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Halina Centre, located at 3310 37th Ave., behind the Vernon Recreation Centre.
