Ensemble presents songs from the heart

Enjoy the luscious harmonies of The Red Rose Trilogy by Canadian composer Eleanor Daley, the haunting swells of the Seal Lullaby by Eric Whitacre and the bubbly sounds of Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell.

A choir favourite is Hatoru Koi, a popular Japanese children’s song about fireflies that is lightning fast.

Ancora is an auditioned 12-voice ensemble conducted by Terry Logan and Accompanied by well-known pianist, Jim Johnston.

Eight of Ancora’s 12 members are from Salmon Arm. Guest artists will include young baritone Griffin Victor and Mary Landers joining Jim Johnston for a flute duet.
