Island Exposures Art Gallery celebrated a milestone May 22 at 183 West Island Highway.

Over the year owner Craig Carmichael has invited many local artists to exhibit their artwork at the gallery, which currently features a variety of paint mediums, photography, forged iron sculptures, wood-turning and more.

Carmichael is well know for his photography and he, along with well know shutter-bug Randy Hall, will be offering some of their tips and tricks in a photography workshop/field trip on Saturday, June 8 from 8:30  a.m. to 3 p.m.

The cost is $50 and pre-registration is required. Stops will be made at Little Qualicum Falls, Cameron Lake and Cathedral Grove and a 16×20 print of your best photo taken that day is included.  Call 250-586-5225 for more details.
