After months of preparation and anxious planning, it is finally here.

Chase CornStock kicks of this Saturday, Aug. 10, with an entertainment lineup that should appeal to all ages.

At noon, the CornField Market will open along with the Interior Savings Little Kernels Zone for all the children on-site.

As 1 p.m. rounds, adults can wander over to the Watering Hole, which will be serving drinks. You must be of legal drinking age to enter – ID is required.

A roaming performance by Treble Spot Jams will begin at the Little Kernels Zone and CornField Market.

At 4 p.m., Sleepless Nights will take to the CornStock Stage, followed by Margit Bull and Sweetgrass at 5:30 p.m. As 7 p.m. nears, Keenan Wilcox will be preparing to set the mood before Ernie Ware & Voodusa begin their set at 8:30 p.m.

Door prizes will be drawn at 9 p.m., just before DJ CrashCourse ends the night at 9:30, dropping some beats that are sure to get the crowd up and dancing.

The festival grounds and Watering Hole will close at 11 p.m.

Organizers  remind  festivalgoers there will not be any public parking at the park. All spaces are reserved for handicapped parking, vendors, volunteers and performers.

Event organizers ask attendees to angle park along Second Avenue as it allows for more cars to be accommodated.

Organizers also advise attendees to leave their pets at home as they are not allowed at the park that day.

Remember to bring a lawn-chair, suntan lotion, hat or umbrella and be prepared to enjoy the day and evening visiting the vendors, concessions, eating sweet, delicious corn, visiting the Watering Hole for a cool one and watching some excellent entertainment.

There will be lots of activities for children to participate in – it is truly a festival with something for everyone.
