Federal candidates join the Halcyon Imagineers on stage

The Halcyon Imagineers Artistic Humanitarian Group will host a six-hour concert and festival entitled Diamonds In The Sun 2 on Dec. 6,

The Halcyon Imagineers Artistic Humanitarian Group will host a six-hour concert and festival entitled Diamonds In The Sun 2 on Dec. 6, 5-11 p.m., at the Jolly Coachman in Pitt Meadows.

The event will benefit the Cythera Transition House, and  is a sequel to the first Diamonds In The Sun held at the Caring Place in January 2014.

The event features recent federal NDP candidate for Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Bob D’Eith, who will be performing with his sons at 9:45 p.m.. His friendly rival federal Green Party candidate Peter Tam will be playing some tunes at 9:30 p.m.

The event will also feature headliners including traditional blues and bluegrass musician Caden Knudson, Rockin’ Rick Moyer. There will also be an artist who bills himself an “outlandish and mysterious superhero-inspired glam rapper and hip hop artist” Arak StarrEagle.

The multi-talented and ultra-diverse blues and jazz songstress Wendy Levan, and classic rock and folk singer Anita Jacobsen are also on the bill.
