Beginners interested in the art of needle felting will want to mark this Saturday, May 28 on their calendars for a workshop with talented fibre artist Pam Dobbs.
The Needle Felting workshop will take place from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the Gallery studio.
The workshop cost is $40, plus $10 for supplies.
Participants will learn the basics of needle felting, using a needle and wool roving.
Students will create a set of coasters using felt as canvas and coloured wools as ‘paint.’
This one day tutorial is perfect for the beginner or those looking for a refresher on this fun technique.
