The Fort Langley Studio is celebrating its first anniversary in style this weekend.
On Sunday, June 29, gallery owners Curtis Zondag and Laura Murphy will host a party from noon to 4 p.m. at the studio, located at the corner of Glover Road and 96 Avenue.
There will be free family entertainment — including live music by Jet Tangerine, Jonathan Muller and Abram’s Epilogue — throughout the day. The folks from Aldor Acres will drop by to sell homemade sausage dogs and popcorn, and they’ll bring along a few baby animals from the farm to say hello.
Visitors can watch artists face off in timed “battles” where they will be given a word to work with and 20 minutes to complete a piece of art.
