Flashmob for charity

Lorissa Arndt of Communitas was one of the leaders of a flashmob group that took over a portion of Sevenoaks Shopping Centre and was “dancing out crazy” on Saturday at 1:30. A flashmob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment and/or satire. This flashmob was done for charity, and included members of the Abbotsford Police Department, board of education, Mission Parks/Rec and many more. The dancers all paid $5, and $475 was donated to Communitas.
