For all the Dancing Queens out there

Treat the woman in your life to a pre-Mother’s Day treat when tribute band ABBA Again performs in Vernon Thursday.

Get out the bell bottoms, boas, and sparkly shirts, and treat the woman in your life to a pre-Mother’s Day treat when tribute band ABBA Again plays The Green Thursday.

Like the original Swedes, this group of two men and two women blends harmonized vocals, eye-catching choreography, glittering costumes and platform shoes to bring the disco era back to life.

“This ABBA Again tribute show will help you relive your memories of the ‘70s era with songs like the ever-popular Mamma Mia through to the lingering sounds of SOS and Eagle, bouncing back to the disco-dancing favourites like Dancing Queen, Voulez-Vous, and Does Your Mother Know, to the show-stopping sounds of Thank You for The Music,” reads a bio on the group.

Established in 2006, ABBA Again has performed for audiences of all sizes around Western Canada.

The tribute takes the stage at The Green in Vernon’s Village Green Hotel Thursday at 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance at the venue or $15 at the door. Visit abbaagain.com for more info.
