The Fort Gallery is seeking 2D and 3D artists for their third annual juried exhibition, ic(o!)nic Canada.

The show runs July 19 to Aug. 6 and celebrates Canada’s 150th birthday with artworks that reflect contemporary visions of Canadian identity.

Cultural influences by both First Nations and immigrants, the size and location of our geography, the diverse forms of landscape and the plants and animals that cohabit that landscape have all contributed to what we understand as uniquely Canadian.

But in the 21st century, how do we define ourselves? And how can we express this in contemporary art forms?

The Fort Gallery invites your ideas, insights and submissions.
