Gallery is filled to the brim for holidays

Okanagan artists show new paintings and sculptures for Nadine's Fine Art & Frames ninth annual Christmas Open House.

Nadine’s Fine Art & Frames is filled to the brim with new paintings and sculptures for its ninth annual Christmas Open House, Friday from 6 to 10 p.m.

Live entertainment will be provided by Christian Jonnesen.

Held at the same time as Festival of Christmas Traditions (Downtown Vernon Light-up), the gallery is located on 31st Avenue close to all the festivities and is home to the Okanagan’s most popular local artists, who work in a variety of mediums.

“Be sure to take in the ambiance of this treasure in the heart of downtown Vernon, and support your local art community. There will be something here for everyone on your list,” said owner Nadine Wilson.

Artists showing their original works include Mary Tremayne, Donna Swain, Gary Whitley, Eileen Sawracki, Theresa Heinrichs, Marcel Mallette, Mike Jell, Ev McDougall, Joanne Ess, Kara Barkved, Lee Caufield, Ted Hayward, Teyjah McAren, Shannon Ford, Mae Roberts, Holly Smith, Gail Short, Linda Edwards, Joan Rowan, Trish Martian, Carol Simpson Taylor, Peigi McMillan, Barbara Jean Hennessey, Lois Campbell, Noreen Jodoin, Vera Fear, Amar and Nadine Wilson.

The gallery is open daily six days a week and Sundays by appointment.
