Haligonians The Modern Grass are about to get high on the mountain when they traverse Rogers Pass to make their way to the North Okanagan.

The band is currently on tour around the country with more than 40 dates. They stop at Lorenzo’s Café in Ashton Creek, Friday.

The tour spans from Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland to the Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Whitehorse and everywhere in between, and is in support of the band’s sophomore album, High on the Mountain.

The Modern Grass will be east of Enderby at Lorenzo’s on Friday, starting at 8 p.m. Call the café at 250-838-6700 for reservations.
