SURREY — Guitar master Jose Feliciano and bhangra duo Jazzy B and Miss Kaur will headline this year’s Fusion Festival at Holland Park, organizers announced this morning (June 10).
The two-day event (July 18 and 19) will feature five stages of entertainment, along with 40 cultural pavilions with an emphasis on food. Admission to the festival grounds is free.
The festival website went live at 7 a.m. this morning with the full list of performers, to include The Belle Game, En Karma, Chin Injeti, Haya, Kuba Ohms, Supernatural: A Santana Experience, The Tourist Company and many other music artists.
Feliciano, born blind in Puerto Rico, launched his meteoric career in Greenwich Village. He has been acclaimed by critics around the world as “The Greatest Living Guitarist," earning more than 45 Gold and Platinum records in the process. He will headline the festival on Sunday, July 19.
Jazzy B, dubbed the "Crowned Prince of Bhangra," was born in the Punjab and raised in Canada. He will take to the festival’s Concord Pacific World Music Stage on Saturday, July 18.
