The Port Alberni Highland Dancers Association hosted its 40th annual Open Highland Dance Competition on Saturday.
The event brought dancers from Port Hardy to Victoria to the Alberni Athletic Hall to showcase their skills.
Competitors ranged in age from four years and up, demonstrating a wide selection of traditional highland dances and choreographed selections.
