Roots duo Twin Peaks will be in Sicamous this Saturday to play a warm, intimate concert at the Owlhead Creek Bed and Breakfast.
The Western Canadian Music Award-winning duo of Naomi Shore and Lindsay Pratt will be staying and playing at the Owlhead Creek B and B as part of the Home Routes program, a unique arrangement that sees folk- and roots-influenced musicians perform what are referred to as “house concerts” across the country.
Owlhead owner Deb Ritchie said there are four Canadian acts lined up so far for the summer, including Sweet Alibi (July 2), Jeffery Straker (July 15) and Blake Bergland (July 23).
“They’re all super talented, and it’s really good music and we’ve got a great shop with a big venue,” said Ritchie, adding the venue could easily hold 100 people.
Shows are open to the public, with tickets at $15 and children 12 and under free. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Ritchie said ticket sales go directly to the performing artists.
