Inaugural Fraser Valley Music Awards winners revealed

The first annual Fraser Valley Music Awards were held on Saturday, with great live performances and exciting award presentations.

The first annual Fraser Valley Music Awards went down on Saturday, July 16 in Abbotsford.

The awards gala drew hundreds of people to the Abbotsford Arts Centre, where they enjoyed a dozen award presentations interspersed with live performances from nominees.

“CIVL listeners, FVMA attendees, nominees, winners, and volunteers have all been thanking us, saying we are leading the way in promoting and supporting Fraser Valley music, and that’s our only goal,” CIVL Radio station manager Aaron Levy said.

Levy hosted the show, which was also broadcast live on CIVL FM, alongside local entertainer Seth Bell.
