Vernon’s Powerhouse Theatre opens its 2012-13 season with beloved musical Annie.

The play runs Nov. 21 to 24 and Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. with Nov. 25 and Dec. 2 matinees at 2 p.m.

Written by Thomas Meehan, with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin, the play is being directed by local musician Jackson Mace and stars a cast of local actors including Scott May, Lana O’Brien, Elise Wilson, Matt Brown, Emily Heayn, Bob Oldfield, and Shaughnessy O’Brien as Annie.
