An American jazz musician will be in the Harbour City later this month.
Jazz drummer Jeff Hamilton will be performing at the Port Theatre on May 29 as part of an annual fundraiser for jazz programs in the Nanaimo school district.
Hamilton was born in Richmond, Ind., and has toured frequently with Diana Krall.
The fundraiser takes place at the Coast Bastion Hotel at 6 p.m. on May 29.
Tickets to the fundraiser are $60 and include a buffet dinner.
