Jazz night boasts local talent

Singer Rosalee Sullivan, saxophone quartet headling MACJazz series at McMillan Arts Centre Friday

The McMillan Arts Centre will wrap up its 2015 performance year this Friday with a holiday jazz concert from vocalist Rosalee Sullivan and the Ocean Winds saxophone quartet.

Expect some sing-along opportunities when local favourites Geoff Williams, Don McConnell, Ray Heynes and Wayne Finucan take the stage to back Sullivan. Storyteller Rodney Anderson appears as a special guest to entertain briefly before intermission.

Little Qualicum Cheeseworks will add to the festive atmosphere by offering samples of their wine and cheese.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert starting at 7.
