Joe Hill Coffeehouse’s first concert of the New Year

The Joe Hill Coffeehouse will start the New Year with another great show on Sunday, Jan. 15 in Rossland.

The Joe Hill Coffeehouse will start the New Year with another great show on Sunday, Jan. 15. As usual, the doors open at 6 p.m., and at 7 p.m. the entertainment begins.

Treats will be supplied by Rossland Secondary School Drama Club. Admission is $3 adults and free to students and children. Be sure to get there early enough to grab a good seat!

Here is the list of performers:

1) Michael Gifford – classic love, cowboy lore and original tunes on ukulele, guitar and vocals

2) TJ Worsley -12 yr. old singer

3) Kerry Kean – pop singer, guitarist

4) Kootenay DanceWorks – dancers Jill Amantea & Cydney Streadwick

5) Wendy Garbe – pop singer, with Michael Gifford, guitar

5) Doug Halladay, Chuck Cram, Dave Rusnell – guitar, bass, vocals

6) Rossland Light Opera Players will showcase excerpts from “Pride and Prejudice”

7) (the) beautiful losers – Chas “Chips McKie – bass; Corey Hendersmash – guitar; Ian McIntyre – rock banjo; Craig Doherty – accordion; Kyle Buckley – vocals
