The Jonas Brothers – Nick, Joe and Kevin – will perform at the Twisted Tea-sponsored Grey Cup Halftime Show in Vancouver. This year the pop-rock band follows in the footsteps of Green Day, who performed at last year’s CFL championship game in Hamilton.

The Grey Cup game is advertised as Canada’s largest single-day sporting event.

Black Press Media is among nearly four dozen partners involved in putting on the 2024 Grey Cup Festival, to feature concerts, parties, outdoor and indoor mini fields, an Ultimate CFL Experience and much more at the Coal Harbour waterfront, along with street and “tailgate” parties at BC Place Stadium.

“The Black Press Media team is thrilled about our partnership with the 2024 Grey Cup Festival and looking forward to supporting the Tour of BC powered by LiUNA Local 1611 that will be visiting communities across British Columbia,” said Randy Blair, Senior Vice-President.

“Connecting British Columbians is the ethos of Black Press Media, and we consider it a great honour and privilege to play a part in spreading the joy of this year’s iconic Grey Cup event throughout BC’s diverse communities.”

This Saturday, June 15, the Lions’ popular “Concert Kickoff” home-opener at BC Place Stadium will feature music by rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, with Calgary Stampeders in town. Events will start at 10:30 a.m. on Terry Fox Plaza with a Backyard Party presented by PlayNow Sports, expanding to a tailgate party where beverages will be sold for $5. Game tickets start at $15.
