Come on down for the first Pier Street Farmers Market and Arts Fair on Sunday, May 1 from 10 to 2:30.
It’s the first of 22 exciting weeks where food, fun and frolic meet in Campbell River.
“Pier Street Market is excited to welcome back many old friends and several new ones offering everythingfrom soup to nuts… literally,” says new Market Manager, Reid King. He adds that the entertainment line up for the season is dynamic and varied and guaranteed to make every Sunday a special event.
Juno award winner Sue Medley is one of Canada’s most acclaimed female singer/songwriters. With a string of radio hits including Dangerous Times, Maybe The Next Time, When The Stars Fall, and touring successes with the likes of John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan, and many more, Medley has earned a reputation as one of the best!
Medley will be joined by John Mang. Mang is a veteran performer and multi-instrumentalist and long time CBC music producer/engineer. Mang co-produced Sue’s two recent releases, Sue Medley & The Back Road Band EP, and These Are The Days, her recent full-length album.
