The Englishman is coming back to North America as Sting has announced he’s extended his Back to Bass Tour and has included Kelowna to his Canadian dates.

The former lead singer/bassist of The Police and celebrated solo artist begins his North American tour at Kelowna’s Prospera Place on May 30.

Following the critical and popular success of Sting’s 2011-2012 world tour throughout North America, Europe, the U.K., South Africa, and Asia, Live Nation is pleased to announce that the Back to Bass tour will continue this year, with Sting performing many of his greatest hits, stripped down, with a five-piece band.

Sting will be joined by his longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), David Sancious (keyboards) Peter Tickell (electric fiddle), and Jo Lawry (vocals).
