There’s been lots of talk about The Bio Cup Canada Legends Valley Music Festival coming to Laketown Ranch at Lake Cowichan Aug. 26-28.

With a tagline that reads “camping, cannabis expo and awards,” and a 19-plus age requirement for entry, there’s plenty to intrigue the imagination.

But it’s also a music festival, so who’s performing?

Headlining is Sublime with Rome, The Sheepdogs and Dirty Heads but there’s plenty more top quality talent onstage to enjoy. Acts include Bif Naked, Daniel Wesley, Forgotten Rebels, Randy and Mr. Lahey from Trailer Park Boys, The Boom Booms, Redeye Empire, Vince Vacarro, Velvet, Buckman Coe and Bazooka Picnic.

There’s also Mat the Alien, The Librarian, Good for Grapes, Los Furios, Kutapira, Antipolitic, Dope Soda, Power Clown, Bocephus King, Dirty Mike & the Boys and Phono Pony to round out an interesting menu.

Three day weekend passes and VIP passes are available, along with individual and VIP single-day tickets. Visit legendsvalleymusicfestival.com/tickets for the latest prices and availability.

The Bio Cup Canada Expo will host an array of booths covering all areas of the medicinal cannabis industry, including international exhibitors. The expo will feature presentations and an exhibitor area showcasing licensed producers, seed and nutrient companies, hydroponics manufacturers, medical clinics, health and wellness providers, and more. The festival culminates with the Bio Cup Canada Awards, hosted by Randy & Mr. Lahey of Trailer Park Boys, who will announce the winners of the 2016 Bio Cup.
