An upcoming class at the Campbell River Art Gallery is the perfect opportunity for people who have not tried watercolour painting, or for those who would like to refine their skills!
Renowned artist Caren Heine’s ‘Beginner Watercolour Painting’ class will take place Tuesday afternoons Feb. 9 until March 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Explore the wonderful medium of watercolours with an experienced instructor and talented artist. Heine, who has more than 40 years of watercolour painting and teaching experience, will guide the class through the intricacies of paint mixing and colour, using various painting surfaces and a variety of brushes to achieve washes, drawing and layering.

Her paintings are in collections around the world and she’s known internationally for her botanical pieces.
