Library launches book club for adults

The Vernon branch of the Okanagan Regional Library is excited to announce its inaugural book club for adults.

The Vernon branch of the Okanagan Regional Library is excited to announce its inaugural book club for adults.

“We invite you to read the suggested titles and to join us for a lively, facilitated discussion of the featured title,” said chief librarian Maureen Curry.

The book club meets the fourth Saturday of every month from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the library meeting room, and is open to all interested adults.

Pre-registration is not required.  The first meeting of the book club is on Saturday, Sept. 22 with a discussion of The Sisters Brothers by Patrick DeWitt.
