A concert called Life, Laughter and Love takes place Friday, Feb. 20 in Abbotsford.
The event features comedienne and soprano Natalie Choquette, violinist Calvin Dyck and pianist Carmen Hollett.
Music from around the world will be performed with a theme of love, such as La Vie en Rose, Salut D’Amore, My Funny Valentine, I Could Have Danced All Night, Somewhere My Love, and a medley from Sound of Music.
Between these songs will be stories of love, humour and drama with Choquette, including audience participation.
“I love what Natalie does – how she draws you into the story. She has a way of transforming a concert into a dramatic experience,” Dyck said.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way.
Tickets are $22 (plus tax and fee) and are available at House of James and King’s Music.
