Well known singer-songwriter Linnea Good will present a concert in Langley on Sunday, March 18 at 7 p.m.
Good and drummer David Jonsson have been a team in music-making for the past decade and a half, and each of them has been in ministry with children for much longer than that.
Good is one of Canada’s best loved faith singer-songwriters for all ages. She has a masters degree in religious education, with a focus on music as a tool in Christian education. Her last family album, Swimmin’ Like a Bird, received three nominations for major Canadian awards as outstanding children’s album of the year.
Jonsson’s years of drumming with multi-award winning children’s performers, Charlotte Diamond and Fred Penner, have given him an intuitive feel for song-leading with people of all ages and abilities.
This event is sponsored by the United Churches of Langley and will be held at the Murrayville Five Corners location, 216 Street and 48 Avenue.
Tickets are available by calling 604-530-2929 or 604-530-4571 and are: adults $15; youth (6-18) $10; children 5 and under are free; family $35.
