Little Treasures opens in Enderby

Enderby’s new Courtyard Gallery is holding its inaugural Little Treasures exhibition for Christmas.

Enderby’s new Courtyard Gallery is holding its inaugural Little Treasures exhibition for Christmas.

The show, which opens Saturday, will include a variety of original and affordable artwork.

Run by the Enderby Artists Initiative, the non-profit, co-operative gallery will feature hand-painted glass Christmas tree ornaments, which range in price from $5 to $15 and have been painted by gallery artists.

“They include a variety of sizes and styles and add sparkle to that special tree,” said the gallery’s Tatianna O’Donnell.

Little Treasures will also include dozens of small canvasses, most under $100 and some under $200.

“Artists have been busy for months creating original affordable items in all media.  This is a great time of year to collect your favourite art for that someone special in your life or for yourself,” said O’Donnell.

Little Treasures opens Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will remain open during those hours from Tuesday to Saturday in November and  until 8 p.m. on Fridays in December leading up to Christmas.

Courtyard Gallery is located at 907 Belvedere St., Enderby.
