Logging lore in Good Timber

Songs, stories and archival photos will provide a window on the incredible lives of those who toiled in the forest

Legendary logging tales will come to life with the theatrical production Good Timber coming to the Cultural Centre on March 29.

The stunning and well-researched musical puts the spotlight on the golden age of B.C. logging with an entertaining show by a gifted ensemble from the Other Guys Theatre Co.

Songs, stories and archival photos will provide a window on the incredible lives of those who toiled in the forest when the province was young.

Punctuated with great physical humour and brilliant musical talent these characters are brought to life for us by the fabulous cast of The Other Guys in partnership with images from the Royal BC Museum.

The spectacular cast of the musical theatrical production includes Kelt and Colleen from the popular folk trio The Ecclestons, with instruments like the penny whistle, guitar, bass, Irish Bouzouki, Mandolin and Bodhran. Expect some lovely harmonies and a high-energy stage presence.
