The Rough Diamonds Creative Arts Society is encouraging people to lose their heads this weekend at the Young Arts Market (YAM) in Parksville.
The dance—called Lose Your Head — will feature four local deejays. President of the society Mehdi Naimi said it’s a great opportunity for the young people to get together and have fun.
“It gives a chance for them to show their talent and it gives the chance to have nice, clean fun,” he said.
The dance happens this Saturday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. There will be a small charge for entry and alcohol will not be permitted.
YAM is located across from the Rod and Gun in Parksville on the Alberni Highway.
