She may have knocked’ em dead on TV’s Ellen and Oprah shows but entertainer Luisa Marshall never forgets where she held her early Cowichan Valley shows.

This tiny but dynamic performer has taken her Tina Turner tribute show to the heights but she’s returning to the Lake Cowichan Legion on Saturday, Feb. 25, a decade after she first played there with her “Simply the Best” show.

Doors open at 7 p.m. with showtime at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $20 each, available at the Legion or by calling 250-749-6041 and online at brownpapertickets.com. Both members and guests are welcome. However, there is limited seating, so call or go online to see if any are left.

“We’ve had Luisa before. She’s awesome. And where else can you go and see entertainment like that for $20?” asks Sam Jones of the Lake Cowichan Legion.
