The Monashee Arts Council is holding an informal reception Tuesday to celebrate creative volunteers in the community.
“We are giving our sincerest thanks and kudos to all past and current volunteers who have helped us over the years with our many imaginative projects and fundraisers,” said Jennifer Sherwood, MAC arts and culture program coordinator.
The event, which starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Whitevale Community Centre in Lumby, will feature door prizes, refreshments, music and fun.
“Join us and meet many of the creative volunteers who make things happen in the arts and culture scene in our community. Learn about the many exciting upcoming events the Monashee Arts Council has in the works,” said Sherwood.
