‘Motown,’ ‘Phantom’ and two other Broadway Across Canada musicals are coming to Vancouver

Tickets went on sale today (Jan. 9) for the four Broadway Across Canada shows to be staged at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre during the company’s 2017-18 musical-theatre season.

The productions include “The Phantom of The Opera,” “The Sound of Music,” “Jersey Boys” and “Motown the Musical.”

From July 11 to 23, Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom” will arrive as part of a new North American tour, followed by “The Sound of Music” in September.

“Jersey Boys” will be staged in November, and the “Motown” story of record-label mogul Berry Gordy plays in February 2018.
