Tickets are still available for Theatre in the Country’s production of The Music Man.

The show is set in July 1912, when salesman Harold Hill travels to River City, Iowa, a town hesitant about strangers.

He calls himself a music professor in order to sell band instruments, uniforms and the idea of starting a local youth band.

Is ‘Professor’ Hill a fraud or is he bringing new life to the town?

The production includes memorable songs like Ya Got Trouble, Seventy-Six Trombones, The Sadder-But-Wiser Girl, Lida Rose, Marian the Librarian, Pick-A-Little and Til There Was You.

The Music Man runs until June 18 at Theatre In The Country, on 272 Street at 100 Avenue, the former Whonnock elementary school.

Tickets for the show only are $30 for adults, $25 for those under 26 and over 64, and $20 for children under 13.

All tickets are 20 per cent off on Thursday.
