The performers have been booked, over 1,000 volunteers have been signed up, camping spots have been reserved and the weatherman has promised great weather all weekend long.
It’s full steam ahead for this year’s MusicFest with a star studded lineup that includes John Prine, Serena Ryder, 54-40, The Trews and over 25 other world class performers from around the world.
If you haven’t bought your ticket yet, there is still time.
There are a few weekend passes left and a limited number of day passes are also available. In the past, the festival has sold out so if you were considering taking in some of the shows, it would be prudent to get your ticket today.

The site is packed with bios on each of the performers as well as youtube videos. For the first time ever, MusicFest now has its own digital radio station, the embedded music player features a few songs from each of the performers. The player works on PCs and all smartphones.
MusicFest has been extremely successful over the past 20 years and is a “must see” event for music lovers on Vancouver Island. Each year the festival brings in world class entertainment that covers a wide range of genres, from country and blues to folk, rockabilly and reggae. The economic impact to Vancouver Island is substantial, it’s estimated that over 4.5 millions dollars is brought to the region as a result of MusicFest.
