Nadine’s hosts eighth annual Christmas open house

Vernon commercial gallery opens its doors Friday for its eighth annual Christmas open house, featuring more than 70 works by local artists.

Nadine’s Fine Art & Frames is opening its doors Friday for its eighth annual Christmas open house, featuring more than 70 works by local artists.

“The whole gallery will be filled to the brim with new paintings and sculptures as well as live entertainment by Holly Smith,” said gallery owner Nadine Wilson, adding, “This  little gallery is in the heart of downtown Vernon and is home to Okanagan’s most popular local artists, who work in a variety of mediums. All original works are here, no posters or prints.”

Artists participating in the show include Angelika Jaeger, Donna Swain, Willy Belcourt, Gary Whitley, Eileen Sawracki, Theresa Heinrichs, Rolland McWhinney, Grace Mills-Hodgins, Margaret Foster, Marcel Mallette, John Waite, Mike Jell, Ev McDougall, Beryl Goodall, Frances Hatfield, Lee Caufield, Gerry Marchand, Teyjah McAren, Shannon Ford, Mae Roberts,  Holly Smith, Gail Short, Linda Edwards, Joan Rowan, Trish Martian, Julie Melanson, Carol Simpson Taylor, Brian Monteith, Vera Fear, Barbara Jean Hennessey  and Amar.

Friday’s open house starts at 6 p.m. Nadine’s, located at  3101 31st Ave., is open daily six days a week and Sundays by appointment.
