The Nanaimo Art Gallery hosts Convergence: Artwork by TD Artists in the Schools until May 29.
The exhibit features pieces created by students in classrooms. The program is meant to help foster children’s imaginations, critical thinking skills and help build confidence about their creative skills.Since the program was created in 1986, between 10,000 and 15,000 elementary students in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith, Qualicum and Cowichan Valley school districts have participated.
