Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra performs sweet brass music

Trumpet play Stevan Paranosic performs as guest soloist during Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra's concert.

The Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra performs pieces by Bach and Henry Purcell during its upcoming fall concert Sweet Brass: Suite Music.

The concert is Saturday (Nov. 26) at 7:30 p.m. at Brechin United Church.

Stevan Paranosic performs as a soloist on Purcell’s Sonata in D Major and Alexander Arutiunian’s Elegy.

Paranosic is a Victoria-based trumpet soloist. He is a principal trumpet player for the Vancouver Island Symphony and member of the brass quintet Victoria Brass.

The concert begins with Bach’s Sinfonia No. 2.
