The Nanaimo Museum is hosting a series of lantern tours that allow participants to explore the darker side of Nanaimo’s history.
Tours are Fridays from 6:30-8 p.m. and run Oct. 14, 21 and 28.
Participants will visit downtown locations, including the site of Nanaimo’s last public hanging, and listen to stories, such as one about the architect who designed the Nanaimo courthouse.
Pre-registration is required and it cost $15 per person. People can book online at http://nanaimomuseum.ca or call 250-753-1821.
