The trailer for the new “Virgin River” Netflix series features a familiar streetscape for residents of Agassiz.
About a third of the way into the trailer for the romance drama, which premiered on Dec. 6, there is an establishing shot of a town street and a sign that says Virgin River.
In reality, a Netflix spokesperson has confirmed, the street in the background of the shot is Pioneer Avenue.
The spokesperson could not confirm the exact date the filming was done, but they did say it was sometime last spring.
According to IMDb, other filming locations for the series included areas in and around Vancouver.

The first season consists of 10 episodes and, according to IMDb, a second season is already in the works.
