ARTIST GAIL NEULS will exhibit work like this June 9 and 10 at the Filberg Lodge.

Well-known Comox Valley artist Gail Neuls will unveil her latest collection of paintings in her first show of the year at the Filberg Lodge.

Neuls paints in a semi-abstract-stylist manner using color to create a sense of celebration and joy that is so much a part of her inspiration. Both the realistic and abstraction are visible and somewhat mystical.

Neuls says, “It is so wonderful and totally exciting to have so much freedom to not have to hold back any imagination in expressing myself.”

The poetry of lines and perspective play a very important part.

Neuls’ sister Lu McLean will again accompany her with the clay caricatures that becoming increasingly popular. They are great conversation pieces and several placed together in your home add a lot of interest and fun. Neuls and McLean will be present to answer any of your questions.

Doors open at 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. on June 9 and 10. The Filberg Lodge is at 61 Filberg Rd. in Comox.
