Salmon Arm Art Gallery presents Boundaries, an exhibition of paperworks by Grand Forks artist Leora Gesser.
Gesser explores the concept of boundaries in our landscape; from constructed communities to eroding stone walls, to natural cliff faces, she examines and portrays the features that determine how we move on the land.
The paperworks are created with a mix of media from charcoal to watercolour, and are mounted without glass so that the texture of the work is highly visible.
The exhibition opens with a reception at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 3, featuring live music and refreshments.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, June 25, on which date Gesser will give an artist’s talk at 3 p.m.
Family Saturdays continue throughout June from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
